Podcast training course from Mosaic Media Training - a leading Media Training company

Mosaic’s podcast training course, led by one of the UK's most experienced podcast trainers Karen Ainley, teaches you how to create wonderfully crafted audio podcasts, in order to help you get your messages across.

Learn the different stages, from scripting, through production and editing to publishing and promoting. This course will teach you how to handle interviews plus write and record scripts, as well as learn what equipment and software is required for recording and uploading audio.

Karen, a former BBC radio and TV newsreader, devised the '5 P's to the Perfect Podcast' course in 2005 and has been teaching organisations ever since, which means she has plenty of advice and experience to help you create professional-sounding audio podcasts.

The 5 Ps podcast course programme

  • Preparation
  • Performance
  • Post production
  • Posting
  • Promotion

A large part of the training is made up of fun practical exercises and all our podcast training is hands-on with you producing your own material.

Who should attend

Communications teams, forward-thinking marketers, print journalists, university professionals, charity workers and anyone with a message to communicate to a wider audience.  If you’re keen to start broadcasting on either your own website or through file-sharing sites, this training will be invaluable. The course is equally beneficial for anyone wishing to record interviews for research or data purposes.

Regular feedback on our podcast training course is that delegates can't wait to get started with producing their own material and our course enables them to do just that.

Course outcomes

Leave this course with a spring in your step and the skills and ability to produce engaging, informative podcasts from start to finish. By the end of the course delegates will have created their own podcast and, equipped with new skills and knowledge, will be able to develop gradually more sophisticated podcasts and upload them onto the web independently.

Podcast training can be tailored to meet the requirements of your delegate group or delivered on a one-to-one basis.
